What are the differences between oil pastels and soft
pastels?
Here are some of my feelings about oil pastels and
soft pastels.

Oil pastels: pigments, wax. As they are non-toxic, they
are used in schools. Sometimes the colors have no good
light resistance.
Soft pastels: pigments, a little kaolin, gum arabic.
